Primary care services are offered on-site in the school health clinic or through the Mobile Care Center by a nurse practitioner who works in partnership with the school nurse. The goal is to connect students without a doctor to one. In addition, licensed therapists provide counseling and prevention services in the school. They assist children to overcome life’s problems, feel better, manage their relationships with others and improve how they do in school. Teen health education is also provided in these schools.
