Healthy Homes is dedicated to providing and preserving affordable housing through the provision of homeownership, rental and home repair services in two Columbus communities, the South Side and Linden.

Healthy Homes is a nonprofit affordable housing developer. Founded in 2008 as a collaboration between Community Development for All People and Nationwide Children’s Hospital with the goal of revitalizing housing in the neighborhoods directly south of the Hospital’s main campus. We work to preserve and create high-quality affordable housing with our homeownership, rental, home repair programs.

Healthy Homes is the affordable housing prong of Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Healthy Neighborhoods Healthy Families (HNHF) initiative. The HNHF initiative targets five impact areas: affordable housing (Healthy Homes), education, health and wellness, community enrichment and economic development. HNHF has proven it can improve community, family and individual wellbeing. In late 2019 HNHF expanded to the Linden area where it will supplement and expand upon the bold vision of the One Linden Community Plan developed by residents and community stakeholders with the support of the City of Columbus.

Since inception Healthy Homes has impacted more than 400 properties on Columbus’ South Side.
